HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The General Maintenance Worker supports this mission by ensuring LCSNW facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained environments for staff, clients, and community partners. By providing reliable maintenance and upkeep of agency spaces, this role helps ensure programs can operate effectively and with dignity.
  • Manage and implement tailored wrap-around case management services for ORR-eligible individuals, ensuring access to housing, health, education, employment, and legal resources.
  • Coordinate and support integration activities, including employment fairs, financial literacy workshops, and cultural orientation events, to promote client wellbeing and community engagement.
  • Train, supervise, and support direct service staff, interns, and volunteers to ensure high-quality service delivery and achievement of contractual and program goals.
  • Implement administrative and operational practices that ensure accurate, confidential, and compliant participant records in accordance with HIPAA, agency policies, and program standards.
  • Collect, analyze, and maintain statistical and anecdotal data to support grant writing, internal monitoring, and timely reporting to management and government agencies.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with external partners, employers, stakeholders, and community organizations, and represent the program at meetings and networking events.
  • Conduct client-facing program functions, including reviewing required forms with clients, providing referrals, completing paperwork and biometrics (including digital fingerprinting), and maintaining fingerprint databases in compliance with HHS and Safe Release Program requirements.
  • Maintain program equipment, report technical or system issues as needed, and ensure compliance with the Rules of Behavior for the HHS Digital Fingerprinting System.
  • Provide accurate operational data and timely updates to the Program Supervisor, Manager, and/or Director regarding program performance, sponsor-related concerns, and equipment or system issues.
  • Collaborate closely with the Program Director and/or Program Manager to support effective program operations and overall program success.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and uphold confidentiality, ethical standards, and agency policies in all aspects of service delivery.
HOW YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related experience, with demonstrated supervisory or lead experience
  • Lived experience that enhances relatability to clients being served
  • Bachelor’s in or related field; substantial relevant experience will be considered in place of degree
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written
  • Intermediate mastery of business applications and productivity suites
  • Demonstrates resilience, awareness and self-regulation in navigating challenges, conflict and obstacles/barriers.
  • Thrives in a diverse and multicultural environment; works with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to enhance end-user experiences throughout the service lifecycle
  • Demonstrates exceptional commitment to serving and advocating for diverse and marginalized populations
  • Works in a variety of settings, including and not limited to LCSNW office locations, partner agency and community-based settings, client home/community settings, outdoor settings in varying weather conditions, and faith-based settings such as churches
  • Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and other job-relevant clearances as required by the State or program
