Parish and Communication Administrator
The Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Haddonfield NJ invites an application from a highly motivated individual to serve as the Parish and Communication Administrator. This critical position reports to the Pastor and oversees all communications including updating the Church website and other social media, publishing the weekly worship bulletin, monthly newsletter, and Annual Report. Additionally, this person will coordinate the scheduling of worship assistants, parish activities, and meetings of community groups and work closely with other church staff members to ensure effective and efficient church operations.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate superior written and oral communication, the ability to work closely with people of diverse backgrounds, excellent digital skills, and proven competency with word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and publication software. This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma with an associates degree from an accredited community college preferred; three to five years of documented work experience. A background working in a church environment is a plus.
This is a full-time, on-site position. The hours are 8AM to 4:00PM, Monday through Thursday and 7:45AM to 11:45AM on two Sundays a month with some occasional evening hours.
The salary range for this position is $37,500 to $42,500 and will be based on experience. The position includes employee-only health and retirement benefits.
