Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lutheran Youth Program Leader to lead and develop youth engagement initiatives within our community. Duties
- Develop, plan, and implement youth programs aligned with Lutheran values and community needs
- Coordinate activities, retreats, and service projects that promote spiritual growth and leadership skills
- Collaborate with church staff, volunteers, and community partners to enhance program offerings
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and supervision of youth program volunteers and assistants
- Manage program budgets, resources, and materials efficiently
- Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation from diverse youth populations
- Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback and assessments to ensure continuous improvement
- Promote youth programs through outreach efforts within the church and local community
Experience
- Teaching experience, Christian ministry, camping staff experience is preferred
- Prior experience working with students in educational or faith-based settings is essential
- Demonstrated ability to lead youth programs with enthusiasm and professionalism with adherence to safety measures regarding children programming
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills for engaging youth, parents, and community stakeholders
- Commitment to fostering a positive, faith-centered environment that encourages personal growth
