Description
Luther Village, a premier independent senior living community located in Arlington Heights, IL, is seeking an experienced Director to oversee maintenance and facility operations for serving 760 residents. This position is responsible for ensuring the community’s buildings, systems, and grounds are maintained in a safe, efficient, and attractive condition.
Responsibilities include:
* Overseeing building maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems * Supervising maintenance and grounds staff
* Managing preventative maintenance and repairs * Coordinating vendors and contractors * Maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance *Ensuring buildings, apartments, and common areas are well-maintained

Requirements
- Experience in facilities management, plant operations, or building maintenance in a senior living community preferred.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and building systems- License or certificate preferred
- Supervisory experience required
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Pool maintenance
