Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Facilities located in Wauwatosa, WI. The Director of Facilities will oversee day-to-day operations of the facility, including managing facility operations, overseeing the Housekeeping, Grounds, Security, Laundry, and Maintenance departments, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring effective facility management. The role includes budget management, overseeing facility staff, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff. Attention to detail and strong leadership skills are imperative to this position.
Qualifications
- Strong Supervisory Skills
- Expertise in Facilities Operations and Facility Management (FM)
- Experience in Budgeting and financial oversight
- Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
- Previous experience overseeing Security staff is a plus
- Experience in senior living or healthcare settings is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
