Payroll Specialist

Payroll Processing
- Process of new hire paperwork: verification and entry into the HR/payroll system to ensure all changes to employee records are applied.
- Execute accurate, timely weekly payroll for exempt, non-exempt, union and commissioned employees.
- Validate timecards, hours worked, pay rates and job classification.
- Ensure proper benefit deductions are withheld from employee payroll checks.
- Perform pre-payroll and post-payroll audits to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies quickly.
- Provide clear, responsive support for employee and manager payroll questions.
- Support special projects within the payroll department.
