We’re currently seeking dedicated Floor Technicians for Luther Acres, the Luthercare community in Lititz, PA. We currently have a full-time position, available Monday through Friday 8am-4pm, with no weekend requirements.

WHAT YOU DO:
As a Floor Technician at Luther Acres, you’re an integral part of ensuring our buildings, equipment, and vehicles are safe and well-maintained by utilizing your semi-skilled and skilled trades experience. You’ll do this by performing a variety of duties, including, but not limited to:
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks such as dust and polishes furniture; stock supplies; clean wash basins, tubs, and commodes; empty wastepaper baskets in resident, employee, and client areas.
- Perform dry and wet mopping of floors and operate vacuums, extractors and pressure washers, and washers and dryers.
- Collect and dispose of garbage in designated areas and manage containers.
- Completes and/or assists with set up and tear down for special functions as needed.
- Maintain equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A Valid PA Driver’s License
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluently.
- Ability to walk continuously, bend frequently, climb occasionally and sit occasionally.
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds frequently.
- Ability to perform the functions required to push large carts, handcarts, appliance dollies and vacuum cleaners/carpet extractors.
Preferred Job-Related Experience/Abilities/Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year experience performing basic custodial functions.
- One (1) year experience performing floor maintenance.
- Basic computer skills.
