Cabinet Installer (Experience Preferred)

Job Summary
Preferred candidate will have two years experience installing cabinetry and/or trim carperntry, knowledge of woodworking tools/machinery & general carpentry skills. Ability to load, lift and move cabinets is a must. Lustig Custom Cabinets prides itself on being a premier builder of custom cabinetry with quality installation and impeccable craftsmanship. Our ideal hire would possess attention to detail,ability to communicate with homeowners, and problem-solve while working independently on job sites. Lustig Cabinets offers an ideal schedule: M-F 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. We have a great working environment, competitive pay, quarterly bonuses, 401K and paid vacation. Salary based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install cabinets according to project specifications and blueprints.
• Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical plans to ensure accurate installation.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively to complete installations.
• Perform trim carpentry and installation of cabinetry.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate schedules and address on-site challenges promptly.
• Conduct quality checks during and after installation to ensure adherence to safety standards and craftsmanship excellence.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cabinet installation or related carpentry fields such as trim carpentry or framing.
• Strong knowledge of construction, blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with hand tools (saws, drills, hammers), power tools (routers, sanders), and fabrication equipment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and industry standards.
• Experience working on construction sites with a focus on precision craftsmanship in cabinetry or woodworking.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to project changes or unforeseen challenges.
