Position Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist (PharmD) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is clinically driven, detail-oriented, and excited to be part of a modern pharmacy focused on both specialty therapeutics and customized compounded medications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and dispense prescriptions in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Oversee and ensure accuracy in non-sterile compounding processes
- Provide patient counseling on specialty and compounded medications
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to optimize therapy outcomes
- Support prior authorizations, medication access, and patient adherence initiatives
- Maintain compliance with USP standards and pharmacy best practices
- Contribute to workflow optimization and quality assurance
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of NY(or eligible)
- Experience in specialty pharmacy preferred
- Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
