What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Instructional Assistant position at Luray Middle?
This position will work with students, generally in a small group setting. The successful candidate provides assistance to special education students in the management and instruction of students. Special Education teaching assistants work closely with Special Educaiton & General Education Teachers. Teaching assistants must have experience in the use of computers, IPADS, and other technology devices typically used for instruction. The successful candidate must be willing to attend professional development in instructional methods and behavior management techniques proven to assist in student success. This position is for the 2026-27 school year.
