Analytical Chemist

Overview:

Lupin is comprised of a fast growing, innovative and robust team of manufacturing, Research and Development and commercial divisions. Together these entities make up the generic and branded U.S. business. Lupin has a significant generic pipeline, and a branded focus on women's health. Our first Research and Development facility in the US is located in Coral Springs, Florida which focuses on generic and branded orally inhaled and nasal drug products. Somerset, New Jersey is home to one of Fifteen commercial manufacturing sites globally and the only commercial manufacturing facility in the United States for Lupin, as well as additional Research and Development teams. We are seeking a highly motivated Analytical Chemist with a PhD or Postdoctoral Fellowship (PDF) and 0-5 years of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate must be a graduate of a university from New Jersey and must not require sponsorship to work in the United States. This role involves conducting advanced chemical analysis, developing testing methods, and supporting research and development projects in a dynamic laboratory environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, perform, and interpret analytical experiments using techniques such as HPLC, GC, GC-MS, LC-MS, spectroscopy, and titration.
• Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods for a wide range of chemical substances and materials.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments, analyses, and results in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including research, quality assurance, and production to support project objectives.
• Ensure laboratory safety and compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

• PhD or Postdoctoral Fellowship (PDF) in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a closely related field.
• 0-5 years of hands-on experience in analytical chemistry (industry, academia, or research lab).
• Must be a graduate of a university in New Jersey
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States (U.S. citizen or permanent resident).
• Strong proficiency with analytical instrumentation and data analysis software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

The anticipated salary range for this position inNew Jersey is $70, $80,000.00, plus discretionary performance bonus (based upon eligibility). The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Lupin is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements of the position generally include: standing, walking, sitting, using hands and fingers, reaching with hands and arms, talking and hearing. In some circumstances, bending, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and crawling may apply. This position may require lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally. Generally work is performed in an office environment.
