Together these entities make up the generic and branded U.S. business. Lupin has a significant generic pipeline, and a branded focus on women’s health. Our first Research and Development facility in the US is in Coral Springs, Florida, which focuses on generic and branded orally inhaled and nasal drug products. Somerset, New Jersey is home to one of Fifteen commercial manufacturing sites globally and the only commercial manufacturing facility in the United States for Lupin, as well as additional Research and Development teams. Summary:

The Associate Director, Biosimilars Marketing is responsible for leading tactical execution, cross functional coordination, agency partnership, and commercial readiness activities supporting multiple biosimilar launches across the portfolio. This role will oversee day to day tactical management with the marketing agency and patient services vendors, ensure alignment with the brand strategy, drive pre launch and launch planning, and support insights generation through market research. The Associate Director will collaborate closely with Sales, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, Medical, and additional stakeholders to ensure launch excellence and execution of integrated marketing plans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Lead development, execution, and optimization of all sales and marketing tactics supporting biosimilar brands across their lifecycle.
•    Manage the external marketing agency, including overseeing timelines, tactical development, briefs, budget tracking, and deliverable quality to ensure alignment with overall brand strategy.
•    Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for the Patient Services vendor; oversee development and implementation of support program materials, ensuring consistency with brand messaging, compliance requirements, and strategic direction.
•    Support and help with market research activities (qualitative and quantitative) across HCPs, patients, payers, and additional stakeholders to inform strategy, positioning, messaging, and launch planning.
•    Partner closely with Sales to coordinate tactical execution, ensuring field-aligned materials, resources, and communications support biosimilar brand objectives.
•    Collaborate with Market Access to support payer focused deliverables, contracting insights, pull through initiatives, and access-related messaging development.
•    Drive creation and maintenance of detailed brand blueprints, launch plans, and cross functional timelines, ensuring all functions remain aligned and accountable to execution milestones.
•    Coordinate with Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and other internal stakeholders to ensure readiness for launch and ongoing brand support.
•    Lead development of core brand materials including HCP messaging, disease state and product content, patient education, digital assets, trade communications, and congress/speaker program materials.
•    Ensure all marketing activities are compliant with legal, regulatory, and medical review requirements, serving as a key contributor in promotional review processes.

Qualification and Experience

Experience:


•    Comprehensive experience developing and implementing marketing strategies and executing tactics within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
•    Demonstrated success supporting product launches, preferably including biosimilars, generics, or specialty pharmaceuticals.
•    Experience managing agencies and external vendors, with the ability to drive timelines, provide clear direction, and ensure high quality outputs.
•    Hands on experience with patient services, access related marketing, and cross functional launch readiness planning.
•    Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan and execute multiple short- and long-term projects, while meeting all deadlines.

Qualification Requirements:


•    Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or related discipline preferred; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
•    7 years of relevant pharmaceutical or biotech marketing experience with increasing responsibility.
•    Experience in specialty, generics, or biosimilars strongly preferred.
•    Ability to travel as needed to support congresses, sales meetings, agency meetings, and field activities.

 

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position in New Jersey is $140,000 to $165,000, plus a discretionary performance bonus (based upon eligibility).

The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, the type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc.
