District General Manager - Nashville, TN
Lunova Group is on the hunt for an inspiring District General Manager to lead our client’s Nashville market—an opportunity to join one of the leading companies in the elevator industry. The District General Manager will drive revenue growth and oversee the branch’s P&L, leading all departments and business lines to exceed performance goals. This role sets the tone for the branch—championing safety, fostering a strong work ethic, modeling professionalism, and inspiring a sense of ownership and pride in both the team and its achievements.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Leads and models the company’s commitment to safety while administering the safety program.
- Supervises department managers and supervisors by providing direction, training, and clear communication of company policies, procedures, and objectives.
- Ensures daily branch operations run efficiently and cost-effectively, meeting financial commitments including target EBIT and gross margin goals across all business lines.
- Manages the P&L and uses accounting reports to monitor departmental performance and meet monthly budget goals.
- Oversees service contract retention, directly engaging with all “at risk” accounts and leading customer retention initiatives.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, elevator consultants, building owners, managers, and prospects.
- Ensures timely, consistent execution of the performance review process for union and non-union employees.
- Maintains strong knowledge of the overall market and stays current on all federal, state, and local elevator code requirements, as well as employment and labor laws.
- Maintains deep familiarity with company products through training, equipment updates, and supplier reviews.
- Collaborates with regional and district teams across operations, sales, accounting, safety, and HR; ensures HR matters are aligned with the regional HR team.
- Holds approval authority for purchasing, contract execution, contract modifications, price adjustments, and other required levels of oversight.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience in the elevator industry preferred.
- Proven P&L management experience.
- Demonstrated success in managing and developing talent.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify problems, gather data, interpret findings, and draw sound conclusions.
Salary : $170,000 - $205,000
