Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes, menus, and quality standards
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure fresh, high-quality offerings
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage procedures
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and assisting with serving when needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service and exceptional customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable
- Proven culinary experience in fine dining or restaurant settings, with strong food preparation skills
- Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Skilled in using kitchen equipment, knives, and cooking tools efficiently and safely
- Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food service operations
