2025-2026 Substitutes, Teachers & Paraprofessionals at all schools

Thank you for considering serving as a substitute in the Lunenburg Public Schools--our administrative team strives to maintain a substitute pool of dedicated individuals. In order to reduce paper consumption LPS only accepts applications processed through SchoolSpring. While applicants with post-high school degrees are preferred, post-high school degrees are not required for per diem substitute assignments. RATES OF PAY Substitute Position & Rate Teacher Substitute (days) $ 85.00 LT Substitute--16-40 days $ 100.00 LT Substitute-41 days $ 260.00 Paraprofessional Substitute $15.30 per hour Please indicate in your cover letter if you also would be willing to serve as a substitute paraprofessional and/or secretary. Hiring is subject to satisfactory CORI and SAFIS Background Checks per 603 CMR 51. Information regarding CORI and SAFIS background checks can be obtained by contacting any of the school administrative secretaries or Liz Petersen, Administrative Secretary to the Superintendent of Schools.
