SUMMARY
The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the HR team, ensuring efficient HR processes and an excellent employee experience. This role handles day-to-day HR tasks such as onboarding, employee changes, HR documentation, and data management while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain accurate and up to date employee records in HRIS and shared system
- Assist with new hire onboarding, including documentation, background checks, and drug screenings
- Ensure proper filing of HR documents and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Support audits, reporting, and compliance-related activities
- Process department invoices in a timely manner.
- Track employee engagement initiates, surveys, events, and communications
- Complete Verifications of Employment
- Triage HR Inbox messages
- Contribute to HR process improvement and special projects.
- Collaborate across HR functions (e.g, benefits, performance management, training)
- Actively participate in staff meetings and trainings as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of all employee and client information
- Apply sound judgement to resolve minor issues in line with Institution policies and department procedures
EDUCATION
High School Diploma
Bachelors degree in Human Resources preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Paycom required
- Basic understanding of HR principles
- 2 years of HR, administrative or related experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
