Current 1st shift hours: Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 2:00 pm

Kondex Corporation is looking for a Machine Operator to join the Specialty Processes department.

Hours can fluctuate depending on customer requirements and training needs.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Load and unload parts from machines while achieving expected rates, which could include one or more advanced machines.
- Learn how to set-up and operate machines in the Specialty Processes areas such as Gockel grinder, scan heat treat machine, shot blaster.
- Read prints and travelers.
- Follow established machine settings and parameters.
- Perform lock-out tag-out on equipment.
- Perform basic inspections using hand-held measuring devices.
- Work in computer system to track and close orders.
- Perform 5S activities, including limited preventative maintenance on equipment.
- May assist in training full time, part time, or temporary associates in the department.

- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions. Prior blueprint reading experience is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Prior machine operation experience.
