Key Responsibilities (Indeed Keyword Optimized)
- Manage daily operations of the automotive service department
- Lead service advisors and technicians
- Drive RO count, ARO, labor hours per RO, and gross profit
- Oversee repair orders, workflow, and scheduling
- Ensure exceptional customer service and CSI
- Implement SOPs, KPIs, and accountability systems
- Control costs while maximizing productivity
- Partner with ownership on growth and strategy
This role has full operational responsibility.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Manager or Senior Service Advisor
- Strong understanding of service department operations
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance
- Experience with metrics, reporting, and process improvement
- Strong communication and customer-focused mindset
- Dealership or independent repair shop experience preferred
Leadership experience is required.
