Job Summary:
Lund Industries is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Parts Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Northbrook, IL. As a Parts Assembler, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently assembling components according to established procedures and quality standards. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring the timely production of our quality products.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret work orders, assembly drawings, and schematics.
- Gather necessary parts, tools, and materials for the assembly process.
- Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment.
- Ensure all parts are assembled correctly and securely according to specifications.
- Inspect finished assemblies for quality and adherence to standards.
- Identify and report any defects or discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production flow.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and understand assembly instructions and drawings.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent work ethic and a commitment to quality.
- Basic problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
