Logistician

LunaTek, LLC is seeking a Logistician that provides entry‑ to mid‑level logistics, property management, and material handling support for NUWCDIVNPT Code 70 programs. This role supports General Equipment (GE) inventory verification, property tracking, material movement coordination, shipping/receiving documentation, and disposal processes in accordance with Navy and NUWCDIVNPT policies. The position ensures accurate accountability of Government property through ERP, GEARS, WARP, DTS, OSP, MMTS, and other Navy logistics systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and physically locate GE assets listed in Navy ERP to verify accountability, maintenance status, and security.
• Conduct monthly GE inventory sampling covering at least 10% of total assets, ensuring full annual review compliance.
• Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions for GEARS/ERP data mismatches; submit GEARS change requests upon approval.
• Update GE inventory lists in SharePoint and maintain asset documentation.

• Generate Material Transfer Requests (MTRs) and Transportation Requests (TRs) using WARP.
• Prepare DD‑1149 shipping documents in the Online Shipping Process (OSP) tool and provide copies to stakeholders.
• Track shipments, confirm delivery status, and communicate delays or issues.
• Prepare DD‑1348 disposal forms in the Disposal Tracking System (DTS) and coordinate disposal processes.
• Print and attach physical documentation for property located in designated buildings, as required.

• Assist with induction of excess material into warehouse systems.
• Upload material and service requests into MMTS and related tracking systems.
• Maintain project structures and GE‑related elements within ERP and NAVSEA IM/WM systems. Maintain accurate GE summary data in GEARS tracking systems.

• Support documentation requirements for audits, inspections, and reconciliation efforts.
• Ensure compliance with GE standard operating procedures and Navy property management instructions.

Experience

• Experience in logistics, material management, inventory control, or property accountability.
• Experience with Navy or DoD property systems preferred, such as:

• • Navy ERP, GEARS, WARP, DTS, OSP, MMTS.

• Ability to perform physical verification, document reconciliation, and system updates.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling GE inventory and materials movement.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Work is performed in office environment. Must be capable of sitting, standing, and walking. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
