- Pay rates will be negotiated during employment interview and will be determined upon the applicant’s level of experience.

Bakery Clerks
- No experience required. On-the-job training provided.
- Provide excellent customer service, address the needs of customers in a timely and effective manner.
- Multitask between daily production and customer service.
- Monitor stock levels in the backroom, display cases, and tables. Stock and rotate (FIFO method) products and check expiration dates to ensure food safety throughout the department.
- Take orders for events and holidays to meet customer requests with attention paid to special details.
- Will to learn how to make specialized products such as fruit tarts, eclairs, and cannoli.
- Work with box cutters, knives, cash registers, espresso machines, ovens, mixers, etc. in a safe manner.
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customers and company policies.
- Protect the safety of oneself, co-workers, and customers at all times, and reports safety-related accidents and incidents to management immediately.
Cake Decorators
- All duties, responsibilities, and activities listed above for Bakery Clerks.
- Prepare and decorate all in-house bakery products (e.g. cakes, cupcakes, tarts, pastries, and special-order items).
- Assemble, fill, and finish/decorate cakes, tarts, select pastry, and special-order bakery items.
- Build, ice, and decorate cakes and other bakery items following standard procedures to meet business demand.
- Create special order cake designs based on customer preferences.
- Must be able to regularly lift about 10 to 20 lbs. (Occasionally, up to 50 lbs.)
- Standing: Up to 8 hours per day.
- Walking: Up to 8 hours per day.
- Reaching/ Bending: Up to 8 hours per day.
