What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at lunar lagoons?
About Us
We are a family-owned and operated pool, hot tub, and retail company. We love what we do, we love to have fun, and we treat our team like family. We pride ourselves on building incredible backyard oases for our community, and we’re looking for a motivated leader to help us grow, streamline our projects, and mentor our team.
The Role
Are you a natural leader who loves being outdoors, solving puzzles, and seeing a physical project come to life? As our Working Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind our pool builds and hot tub services.
This is a unique, dynamic role where you will split your time between managing the big picture (schedules, customer updates, subcontractors) and working directly on-site alongside the crew to get the job done.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Drive Projects Forward: Keep pool builds and service jobs moving efficiently from breaking ground to the final splash. Maintain the master schedule and adjust for weather or delays.
- Lead on the Field: Physically assist with the building and installation process. Lead by example on-site, teaching the crew best practices and safety.
- Customer Champion: Act as the main point of contact for homeowners. Give them updates, answer questions, and ensure they have a 5-star experience.
- Manage Subcontractors: Coordinate and schedule concrete pours, electricians, and other subs so there is zero downtime.
- Grow the Team: Help recruit new talent as we expand, and actively mentor our current crew to upgrade their construction and technical skills.
What You Bring (Requirements)
- Construction Experience: At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in construction, landscaping, pool building, or a related trade.
- Leadership Skills: Experience managing a small crew or leading projects. You know how to motivate people and keep morale high.
- Excellent Communicator: Strong verbal and written skills. You are comfortable talking to excited homeowners and firm subcontractors alike.
- Problem Solver: You don't sweat it when a plan changes; you find a solution and keep the team moving.
- Valid Driver’s License: Clean driving record required to drive company vehicles to job sites.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift heavy equipment, and perform physical labor alongside the team.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
- Family Atmosphere: No corporate red tape. Your voice is heard, and your impact is directly felt.
- Growth Opportunities: As you help grow our team size and efficiency, your career and earning potential grow with us.
- Work Hard, Play Hard: We take our work seriously, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. We love to have fun on the job.
- Competitive Pay: Based on your experience and what you bring to the table.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Benefits:
