Luna Maps is seeking a Partnerships Manager to develop , manage, and grow its current strategic relationships across innovation ecosystems. This role will lead partnership development with top tier venture accelerators, governments, venture capital firms, economic development organizations, and corporate innovation teams.
The Partnerships Manager will serve as a key innovation ecosystem liason in growth function within Luna Maps. How? Helping honoring partners' goals, strengthening both partners designing sweet spots, and expanding market presence with sheer value, via ecosystem intelligence, cluster mapping, and innovation strategy.
This position means building trusted relationships that translate into measurable ecosystem impact for all parties, mutual sustainable revenue opportunities, and long-term strategic collaborations. The role will strengthen the division of labor across Luna Maps, enabling greater continuity, enhanced client service, and more effective delivery of partnership commitments and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities/Scope of Work:
1. Strategic Partnerships & Business Growth, 50 %
- Identify, develop, and manage current strategic partnerships aligned with Luna Maps' mission and growth objectives.
- Build holistic relationships with universities, accelerators, venture funds, government agencies, industry associations, and innovation ecosystem stakeholders. It'll be split via your strengths as well as your industry of public private sector experience.
- Generate qualified deal opportunities and support proposal development, partnership agreements, and collaborative initiatives with these Partnership Teams and Companies
- Maintain a pipeline of partnership prospects and track partnership performance, revenue contribution, and growth opportunities.
- With the CEO and COO of Luna Maps, Identify new markets, sectors, and strategic opportunities that advance Luna Maps' service offerings and geographic reach.
2. Partner Success & Ecosystem Engagement, 30%
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for strategic partners and collaborators.
- Maintain ongoing communication to ensure alignment, satisfaction, and successful delivery of partnership commitments.
- Support partnership renewals, expansion opportunities, and long-term relationship stewardship.
- Represent Luna Maps at conferences, innovation summits, ecosystem events, and stakeholder engagements (optional)
3. Strategic Intelligence & Organizational Collaboration, 20%
- Monitor emerging trends in AI,Ecosystem Boutique Firms, and Mapping in New Sectors
- Collaborate closely with leadership and project teams to align partnerships with organizational priorities and client outcomes.
- Contribute to a mindful, holistic, division of labor to deliver continuity

Experience
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, innovation ecosystems, economic development, venture ecosystems, or related leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success cultivating, managing, and growing high-value relationships across public, private, academic, and nonprofit sectors.
- Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments and translating relationships into measurable outcomes, partnerships, and growth opportunities.
- Proven ability to represent organizations with professionalism, diplomacy, and strategic insight.
