Bartender and Server

We are a fast growing, elevated, restaurant, bar and event venue located on the beautiful Fairways Golf Course in Rochelle, IL. Under new ownership, we have recently undergone many new renovations and upgrades that have helped us create a warm, inviting and classy environment. We are seeking dynamic and experienced bartenders and servers to be a part of our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in making and serving all types of cocktails, taking and serving food orders, possesses a fun, vibrate and personal personality, consistently presents a professional appearance, passionate about their position, exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled and customer-oriented bartenders and servers to join our team. As a bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to our guests. Your role will also involve providing excellent customer service, ensuring the bar area is clean and well-stocked, and maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Take orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines when handling and preparing beverages
- Operate POS systems and handle cash transactions accurately
- Utilize basic math skills to calculate bills and process payments
- Promote sales by upselling drink specials or suggesting additional menu items
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service to customers
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of retail math principles for calculating bills and handling cash transactions
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and inventory management
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of brewing techniques for beer preparation is a plus
- Experience in banquet or food service settings is an advantage

***Must posses or obtain a Basset’s and Food Handling Certificates prior to starting

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
