Summary
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Luna Vista Home Healthcare. This role is crucial in ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of care in their homes. The Quality Assurance Specialist will play a vital role in upholding our commitment to quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits of patient care plans and outcomes to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to identify areas for improvement in patient care delivery.
- Provide training and support to staff on best practices in quality assurance.
- Review patient feedback and implement necessary changes to enhance service delivery.
- Monitor adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to quality assurance.
- Prepare reports on quality metrics for management review.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
Qualifications RN, PT, OT, or ST License
- Preferably 2 years experience in home healthcare or a similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in medical documentation and electronic health records (EHR).
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with case management is a plus.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
