Responsibilities
- Clear and clean tables efficiently after guests leave, ensuring a spotless dining area.
- Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and delivering condiments or utensils as needed.
- Support food handling procedures by maintaining cleanliness in food prep areas and ensuring proper disposal of waste.
- Help set up dining areas for service, including arranging tableware and linens to prepare for incoming guests.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate timely service and address guest needs promptly.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the restaurant, including floors, chairs, and service stations.
- Support catering events or special functions by providing excellent hospitality assistance when required.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures, bussing techniques, and food handling practices is advantageous.
- Experience working in hospitality settings such as hotels or catering services is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
