Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and strengths.
- Design, implement, and supervise individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles tailored to each client’s goals.
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy sessions to children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care strategies and facilitate consistent support across settings.
- Maintain accurate medical records, treatment documentation, and HIPAA-compliant records in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
- Conduct intake assessments and participate in ongoing patient evaluations to refine intervention approaches for optimal outcomes.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Proven experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment procedures, and medical documentation practices.
- Ability to perform detailed diagnostic evaluations and develop effective treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, healthcare providers, educators, and team members.
