Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Educate customers on hemp wellness products, including benefits, usage, and proper application through engaging product demos
- Assist customers with selecting products that meet their needs, upselling when appropriate to enhance their wellness journey
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and basic retail math calculations
- Manage merchandising displays, stock shelves, and ensure the store is clean, organized, and inviting
- Conduct inventory checks, stock replenishment, and assist with product stocking to maintain optimal availability
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or follow-up calls from customers or vendors
- Support supervising team members when needed and contribute to a collaborative retail environment
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and engage diverse customers
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a broader customer base
- Experience in merchandising, stocking, and retail math is beneficial
- Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with health & wellness products is advantageous
- Must be energetic, proactive, and passionate about promoting wellness solutions
