Director of Operations
Commercial Cleaning & Facility Services
We are seeking a highly driven, organized and hands-on Director of Operations to oversee nightly operations for a rapidly growing commercial cleaning company servicing large churches, schools, office buildings, and commercial facilities.
This is not an entry-level management role. We are looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, can lead people well, solve problems quickly, and maintain high operational standards across 50 employees and 50 facilities.

Responsibilities
- Oversee scheduling and nightly operations for 50 employees across 50 commercial buildings
- Manage building leads and solo cleaning technicians
- Maintain and follow a detailed inspection schedule for all accounts
- Conduct building inspections and ensure quality standards are consistently met
- Meet face-to-face with staff for coaching, accountability, and support
- Ensure proper documentation, write-ups, and communication are completed in company apps and systems
- Monitor employee time clocks and ensure apps are being used correctly
- Launch and oversee new building accounts
- Manage inventory, supply organization, and operational flow
- Ensure laundry operations and shop cleanliness are maintained
- Assist with staffing coverage and problem-solving when operational issues arise
- Communicate professionally with clients and leadership
- Maintain a strong sense of urgency, time management, and follow-through
Requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities at once
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and Sundays
- Ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable holding employees accountable while maintaining professionalism
- Ability to work independently and make decisions confidently
- Experience managing teams, operations, or logistics preferred
- Commercial cleaning or facility management experience is a plus, but leadership ability matters most
