Forklift Operator – Contract Position
Location: Windsor, Colorado

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and safety-minded Forklift Operator to support our operations in Windsor, Colorado. This is a contract position expected to continue through the end of December 2026.
The ideal candidate will have previous forklift operating experience, a strong commitment to workplace safety, and experience working around heavy equipment and materials. Experience operating a reach stacker is highly preferred, but we are willing to consider experienced forklift operators who have the right safety mindset and ability to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, and position materials.
- Operate a reach stacker or similar equipment, if qualified and experienced.
- Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and identify any safety or maintenance concerns before operation.
- Follow all company, customer, and site-specific safety procedures.
- Maintain constant awareness of pedestrians, vehicles, equipment, and other potential hazards in the work area.
- Ensure materials and loads are properly secured and handled safely.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and staging materials as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members during equipment and material movements.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, accidents, or near misses.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform additional operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous forklift operating experience required.
- Reach stacker experience strongly preferred.
- Experience operating heavy material-handling equipment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safe equipment operation and workplace safety practices.
- Ability to complete equipment inspections and recognize potential safety concerns.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in an industrial, warehouse, or outdoor yard environment.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing attention to detail.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
