Job Summary Responsible for providing quality service by timely and accurately entering and/or modifying eligibility data in Health Benefits systems according to established procedure and client requirements. Also responsible for responding to telephonic, written and electronic inquiries (PMC/web inquires) from employees/members, clients, brokers and co-workers. Required Job Qualifications: High School diploma or GED equivalent Minimum 1-2 years of Eligibility and/or benefits experience Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service and production driven environment Exceptional data entry skills with high attention to detail Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively with team members, employees/members, providers, and clients Ability to meet deadlines with strong follow-up skills Ability to use common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral, written or diagram form Critical thinking skills; logic and reasoning to foresee and identify potential problems and proactively take steps to remedy the issue Flexible; open to continued process improvement with the ability to prioritize and adapt to business needs Ability to learn new/proprietary systems, to adapt to various system platforms, and to effectively use MS Excel/Word Preferred Job Qualifications: Prior experience in a medical office or hospital billing environment Self-Funded Insurance/Benefits and/or TPA experience Are you being referred to one of our roles?
