Lumina Foundation is seeking a Benefits Manager to join its Equity, Culture and Talent team. This is a unique opportunity to oversee a sophisticated benefits function at one of the nation's most influential private foundations, an organization known not only for its impact on education and workforce outcomes, but also for its commitment to investing in its people.
This hybrid position is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, with office-based employees spending a minimum of three days per week in Lumina's Indianapolis office.
Reporting to the Director of Culture and Talent, the Benefits Manager serves as the primary lead for benefits administration and related people operations processes. The successful candidate will oversee Lumina's health and welfare, retirement, and ancillary benefit programs while serving as a trusted resource to employees, leaders, and stakeholders across the organization.
This is more than a traditional benefits administration role. In addition to ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational excellence, the Benefits Manager will have the opportunity to influence how benefits programs are delivered, communicated, and enhanced over time, bringing expertise and thoughtful recommendations that help ensure Lumina continues to invest in and support its employees in meaningful ways.

The salary range for this position is $96,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience.
