Must Haves :
The Director of Nursing provides strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of the Medical Center You will be accountable for designing and implementing innovative programs, improving patient outcomes, and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective care across the continuum. As the Director, you will collaborate with providers, staff, and leadership to elevate clinical performance and patient experience.
Serve as the accountable leader for all aspects of Emergency Services.
Drive continuous improvement in outcomes, cost of care, and patient satisfaction.
Partner with quality leadership to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and advance toward becoming a highly reliable organization.
Collaborate with other service line leaders, facility leadership, and system executives to provide consistent, patient-centered care.
Support provider and staff recruitment, retention, and engagement.
Demonstrate values through inspirational leadership and a commitment to patient-centered outcomes.
Collaboration: Partner with physicians, advanced practice providers, and hospital leadership to enhance care coordination, patient experience, and service delivery.
Oversees ongoing staff education, competency, and adherence to clinical and patient safety standards.

What we're looking for
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Current Alabama RN license (or eligible for licensure).
A minimum of 5 years progressive leadership experience inEmergency Services
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build effective relationships team
Experience with budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation in acute care settings.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and implement performance-improvement initiatives.
BLS and ACLS required (or obtained within a defined timeframe)
- A minimum of 5 years progressive leadership experience inEmergency Services
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build effective relationships team
- Current Alabama RN license (or eligible for licensure)
- No hits on nursing license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and implement performance-improvement initiatives. BLS and ACLS required (or obtained within a defined timeframe)
- Prefers experience to be in the ER, but need leadership experience
