Lumicor is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our growing maintenance team. You will be responsible for utilizing your skills to perform a variety of hands-on tasks including: preventative maintenance, reactive breakdown repair and machinery upgrades.

The Opportunity
Lumicor is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our growing maintenance team. You will be responsible for utilizing your skills to perform a variety of hands-on tasks including: preventative maintenance, reactive breakdown repair and machinery upgrades.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily preventative maintenance specified by Facility Maintenance Manager or the Facility Maintenance Supervisor
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor to repair machine breakdowns
- Ensures all work is in compliance of the maintenance, safety and environmental programs
- Observes safety and security procedures. Reports unsafe conditions.
- Conducts monthly Safety walk-thru to ensure compliance with Safety, Fire and Building code standards
- Work with the Facility Maintenance Manager on plant improvement projects
- Maintain cleanliness of all production equipment and the facility
- Able to work at heights and in steamy or cold atmospheres
- Must be able to lift 50-75lbs on occasion
- Willing to work nights on occasion and weekends
- Contributes to building a positive team spirit and supports everyone’s efforts to succeed

- Working knowledge of Hydraulics, Boilers, Pneumatics, Chillers, HVAC, PLC and CNC equipment, hand tools and power tools
- Aptitude for mechanical, electrical and steam control tasks
- Experience with a variety of hand tools
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be an organized, self-starter and work independently
- Self-motivated, flexible and proven customer relation skills
- Basic computer skills
- Plant maintenance experience
- Track record of successfully implementing Continuous Improvement within a manufacturing environment.
