This new American Health Imaging West Ashley center is scheduled to open in December 2026.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Lumexa Imaging partner American Health Imaging is looking for a registered MRI Technologist for a full-time position in West Ashley, SC. As a registered MRI Technologist, you will perform high-quality scans while providing excellent customer care and service to patients.

What You'll Do

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of MRI safety, anatomy, and imaging techniques.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including IV administration when appropriate.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical team members to deliver exceptional service and quality care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registered with advanced certification in MRI (ARRT-MR) required.
• Previous experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• IV certification/skills required.
• Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI imaging principles.

Physical Requirements

• Help patients on and off the MRI table and into wheelchairs as needed.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday while performing patient care duties.
