Responsibilities
- Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and other substantive filings.
- Conduct written discovery and take/defend depositions.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.
- Develop case strategy and communicate directly with clients.
- Prepare matters for trial and assist with trial proceedings as needed.
- Collaborate with partners and litigation teams on complex matters.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active bar license in the state where applying (or ability to obtain admission).
- 2 years of litigation experience (all experience levels encouraged to apply).
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Experience managing cases independently is a plus.
- Trial, deposition, or mediation experience is preferred but not required.
