Employment Attorney


URGENT need for several highly regarded law practices with a strong track record in wage and hour class actions or discrimination, harassment, and retaliation litigation. This is a plaintiff side opportunity but also open to candidates looking to make the switch from the defense side.



The Opportunity:

This role offers meaningful responsibility and hands-on litigation experience in wage and hour class action or discrimination, harassment, and retaliation litigation matters. Attorneys are expected to manage an active docket while continuing to develop their skills through mentorship and direct involvement in all phases of litigation. The position is well-suited for attorneys who want substantive responsibility, courtroom exposure, and long-term growth, regardless of whether their background is plaintiff-side, defense-side, or mixed.


Responsibilities:

  • Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related documents
  • Develop and execute litigation strategies in state and federal courts
  • Participate in depositions, motion hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
  • Conduct legal research and produce persuasive written and oral advocacy
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and execution

Qualifications:

  • Active membership and good standing with the Washington State Bar
  • Strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment
  • Clear, persuasive verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound judgment in complex or high-pressure situations
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable

Compensation

  • Competitive compensation based on experience: $200,000–$400,000
  • Performance-based incentives available
