RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create plan for objective test that will ensure the targets are met for each stage of development.
- Assist with determining major project resources.
- Conduct objective test in accordance with the test procedure and complete all test documentation.
- When test failures occur, conduct analysis, prepare C/M ideas, conduct testing, and report results.
- Participate in project development meetings to share test results and help resolve multi-disciplinary issues.
Requirements
- BSME or BSMET degree as min. or significant, relevant Dynamics testing experience can be used as a substitute for degree. 1-3 years min. of vehicle dynamics test / Brake NVH experience preferred.
- Ability to work in hands on environment, be self motivated and have strong mechanical and electrical trouble shooting skills.
- Applies engineering principles, experiences, and various analysis tools.
- Knowledge and experience with LMS TestLab, Labview, Matlab and/or NI CompactDAQ is preferred.
- Experience using accelerometers, position and strain transducers preferred.
