Position Title: Lead Business Analyst (Program & Portfolio Management)

Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid - 1-2 days onsite mandatory)

Role Overview

We are seeking a strong, hands-on Lead Business Analyst with exceptional analytical capabilities who can translate complex, ambiguous problems into clear, actionable requirements. This role requires close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Data teams within a SAFe/Agile environment, with a strong focus on delivering business value and managing risk.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end business analysis for complex initiatives
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements
• Own and manage product backlog, prioritization, and refinement
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Engineering, and Data teams
• Identify dependencies, risks, and proactively drive resolution
• Ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions
• Support delivery in a fast-paced Agile/SAFe environment
  
  

🔍 Required Skills & Experience

• 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with recent experience in a Lead role
• Strong expertise in SAFe/Agile methodologies
• Proven experience in backlog management, prioritization, and refinement
• Ability to work with complex systems, data, and technical teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience working in cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Data)
