Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Clarity PPM Administrator (Subject Matter Expert) with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on Clarity administration experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise across Clarity s architecture, configuration, integrations, and reporting, as well as deep knowledge of the latest Clarity 16.3.2 release. This role supports ongoing administration, enhancements, reporting, and user guidance for CareFirst s highly customized on-prem Clarity environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of Clarity PPM Administration experience.
- Strong SME-level knowledge of Clarity, including configuration, customization, and administration.
- Experience with Clarity 16.3.2 (must be on most current release older versions such as 16.1 will not qualify).
- Proficiency with:
- XOG (XML Open Gateway)
- GEL scripting
- Clarity database schema
- Advanced Clarity SQL
- Experience supporting highly customized on-prem Clarity environments.
- Hands-on experience with reporting tools, dashboards, and creation of new system capabilities.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service orientation.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Clarity SME, supporting administration, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
- Manage and support Clarity on-prem, including maintenance of customizations built by CareFirst.
- Perform installation, upgrades, patches, environment configuration, and system maintenance.
- Handle user management, access controls, and security administration.
- Monitor and ensure Clarity jobs run successfully; automate jobs where applicable.
- Manage and respond to support tickets, resolve issues, and provide best-practice guidance.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards, and add new capabilities based on business needs.
- Utilize XOG, GEL scripts, and a deep understanding of Clarity database schema.
- Write and optimize Clarity-specific SQL with exceptional SQL competency.
- Support both Classic UI and New UX (Phoenix UI is a plus).
- Align with evolving Broadcom reporting methods and internal reporting needs.
- Participate in:
- Broadcom Office Hours (1 hour monthly) to understand product roadmap and updates.
- CareFirst user calls (30 minutes monthly) to gather requirements and answer user questions.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Phoenix UI.
- Familiarity with Broadcom s evolving reporting capabilities and Clarity roadmap.
