We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Human Resources / Office Assistant to support daily administrative operations and assist with a variety of HR functions. This position will help maintain employee records, coordinate office activities, support recruitment and onboarding, and provide professional administrative support to management and staff.

The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Support

  • Assist with recruitment, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Support new-hire onboarding and completion of employment paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and HR records.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, company policies, and required HR documentation.
  • Assist with tracking attendance, timekeeping, employee information, and other HR-related documentation.
  • Respond to routine employee questions and direct more complex matters to the appropriate HR representative.
  • Assist with benefits administration and employee communications as needed.
  • Prepare HR reports, forms, correspondence, and other documentation.
  • Help ensure company policies and procedures are communicated and followed.

Office Administration

  • Answer phones, respond to emails, greet visitors, and provide general administrative support.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and interviews.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical files.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Prepare documents, spreadsheets, reports, and correspondence.
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and general office coordination.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment.
  • Provide administrative support to managers and other departments as needed.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; HR/business-related education preferred.
  • Previous administrative, office, or human resources experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information professionally.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Professional, friendly, and dependable attitude.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with HRIS, payroll, or applicant tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of basic HR practices and employment documentation.
  • Experience with scheduling and employee onboarding.
  • Strong data-entry and recordkeeping skills.

Work Environment

This is an office-based administrative position that involves regular interaction with employees, management, applicants, and visitors. The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
