- Interior Cleaning: Vacuuming interiors, shampooing carpets and upholstery, cleaning dashboards, consoles, and windows, and deodorizing vehicle cabins.
- Exterior Reconditioning: Washing, drying, waxing, buffing, and polishing vehicle exteriors to remove dirt, grease, and light scratches.
- Engine & Wheels: Cleaning engine compartments, applying tire dressing, and cleaning wheels/rims.
- Quality Inspection: Inspecting vehicles for defects, such as missing parts, stains, or scratches, and performing minor cosmetic touch-ups.
- Workflow Management: Moving vehicles between locations, keeping the wash bay or service area clean, and managing cleaning inventory.
- Protective Treatments: Applying protective coatings to paint, wax, and fabric protectants.
- Valid Driver's License: A current, valid license is required with a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
- Experience: Previous experience is preferred but not always required; many dealerships offer on-the-job training.
- Physical Stamina: The job involves standing, kneeling, bending, and walking for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot small stains and ensure every part of the vehicle is pristine.
- Technical Skills: Ability to operate cleaning equipment like buffers, steamers, high-pressure washers, and vacuums.
