What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Warehouse Associate position at Lumbermen's?

Shift: Seasonal Role from May to October, Monday - Friday Swing Shift 10AM to 7PM.
POSITION SUMMARY
Located at one of our Cottage Grove location, the person in this position would assist with picking and preparing orders for shipments as well as receive, transfer, and storage of incoming freight in our Toledo division. . Day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Living Out Lumbermen's Culture – Leading in and modeling Lumbermen's core values while creating an atmosphere where Lumbermen's is 'first choice' of our customers.
- Detail Oriented - Unloading incoming freight, verifying product against enclosed packing lists, sorting material by end destination and putting away excess stock.
- Preparing Orders - Accurately pulling customer orders and preparing material for shipment
- Safety - Securing and labeling products for delivery
- Process - Transferring picked orders to staging area for delivery per the delivery schedule.
- Open Communication - Assisting in cleaning and maintenance of warehouse.
- Teamwork - Performing other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Previous Forklift experience
- Previous warehouse experience in a distribution setting
- Ability to accurately pull orders and load/unload trucks.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to do physical labor including lifting of up to 50lbs.
