Responsibilities / Position overview
Our market research team are seeking a Research Executive to join their qualitative research department.
This position involves owning administrative tasks for project deliverables and effective project management; day-to-day support, coordination and assistance to research teams, consistently demonstrating strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills. The responsibilities include independently conducting research activities, building client relationships and acting as a valued internal resource within Lumanity.
The core competencies and responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
- assist with and occasionally conduct research activities to continually develop qualitative / quantitative acumen and expertise
- engage professionally in any client interaction to ensure successful client relationship
- act as an effective Lumanity team member, with enthusiasm and creativity
- provide effective, efficient project management and implementation of multiple domestic / global market research studies
- perform all assigned administrative and logistical tasks on time, with high attention to detail and quality
- provide day-to-day support, coordination and assistance to research teams, consistently demonstrating strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
- act as a liaison for research teams and internal teams e.g. Project Management, Compliance, etc., to ensure efficient response and proper documentation per company / industry guidelines
- pre-empt project milestones, monitor progress with task tracker spreadsheet tool and proactively update senior project team members accordingly
- hold a professional, engaged presence in field and during client meetings
- notates and summarizes client discussions accurately
- shows an understanding of the importance professional interactions with clients and of impact of current work on future potential business opportunities
- start to show an awareness and understanding of the commercial needs of the business
Qualifications
- Degree / Masters in any subject or field
- 1-2 years’ experience in research or professional services organisation, of which:
- 1 years’ experience in research-based project support role (healthcare preferable)
- Able to apply relevant research methods
- Show evidence of strong ability to draft materials and sections of presentations
- Demonstrate good data analysis & interpretive skills
- Solid project management skills
- Basic coaching skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer proficient: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
