What You'll Do:
Lead Strategic Client Engagements
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior client stakeholders across the life sciences industry.
- Lead complex consulting engagements from project design through successful delivery, ensuring exceptional quality and measurable client impact.
- Guide consulting teams through project execution, providing direction, coaching, and oversight to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Facilitate executive-level discussions that address strategic business challenges beyond individual project engagements.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and develop long-term strategic partnerships.
- Partner with clients to develop innovative strategies that support asset, portfolio, and organizational growth.
- Lead the development, scoping, and delivery of compelling client proposals and strategic solutions.
- Build, nurture, and leverage a strong professional network to generate new business opportunities.
- Partner with colleagues to identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities across existing and prospective clients.
- Contribute meaningfully to practice revenue growth through expansion of existing client relationships and acquisition of new business
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership, client-facing materials, and innovative service offerings that strengthen Lumanity's market position.
- Mentor, coach, and develop consultants, fostering professional growth and high performance.
- Support talent development through performance management, feedback, and ongoing coaching.
- Contribute to knowledge management, marketing initiatives, and other firm-building activities.
- Help shape the strategic direction and continued growth of the Asset & Organization Strategy Consulting practice.
- Share insights on emerging life sciences trends, market dynamics, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate across Lumanity's global capabilities to deliver integrated solutions that maximize value for our clients.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent) preferred.
- 15 years of consulting and/or life sciences industry experience, including leadership responsibility.
- Deep understanding of biopharmaceutical research and development, commercialization, organizational strategy, and the product lifecycle.
- Demonstrated success leading complex strategic consulting engagements for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare clients.
- Proven ability to build trusted executive-level client relationships and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Strong business development experience, including proposal development and revenue generation.
- Experience leading, mentoring, and developing consulting teams.
- Outstanding strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex scientific, commercial, and organizational challenges into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with confidence engaging senior executives.
- Strong project leadership skills, including management of scope, timelines, budgets, and risk.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support client engagements and business development activities.
