The Opportunity

Luma AI is a full-stack AI lab building the intelligence behind all creative work. We combine the massive capital and compute resources required to train foundational models with the agility of a focused product team. This environment is designed for builders who want to define a new category of software rather than optimize existing ones.

Where You Come In

You will be a foundational member of the product engineering team, responsible for the end-to-end delivery of novel features. Traditional UI paradigms break down when applied to generative AI; you will be responsible for inventing the new ones. You will collaborate directly with researchers to productionize raw model capabilities, turning experimental breakthroughs into stable, usable product workflows.

What You Will Build

• 0-to-1 Features: You will own the full lifecycle of product development, taking abstract ideas and turning them into shipped features that define how users interact with creative intelligence.
• Rapid Prototyping: You will build fast, functional prototypes to test new model capabilities, helping the research team understand the product implications of their work in real-time.
• The Creative Canvas: You will build the interactive workspaces where users collaborate with AI agents, developing tools that allow for iterative refinement and control over generative outputs.
  
  

The Profile We Are Looking For

• High Agency Builder: You have a history of creating, launching, and building new systems from scratch. You thrive in environments where you define the spec as you build.
• Product Instincts: You understand that backend architecture is only as good as the product capabilities it enables. You prioritize the user experience in every technical decision.
• Versatile Mastery: You are a master of React and TypeScript who is comfortable jumping across the stack when necessary to unblock a feature.
