Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dishwasher/Busser to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized dining environment, supporting the overall guest experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, food service, and ensuring cleanliness standards are met. Previous restaurant, catering, or hospitality experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within our team.
Responsibilities
- Clear and clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently during service hours
- Assist with bussing tables by removing used dishes and resetting tables promptly
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic kitchen assistance and ingredient handling
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet or catering events when required
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling, cleaning procedures, and kitchen operations is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards guest service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or special event days as needed
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 40 pounds)
