  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • The ability to manage multiple client matters and priorities simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong proofreading and document-review abilities.

  • A professional and confident telephone and client-service presence.

  • The ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.

  • The ability to follow established processes while identifying opportunities to improve them.

  • Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive client information.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

  • Comfort learning and working with legal practice-management and document-automation technology.

  • Can manage competing deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.

  • Don’t wait to be reminded about an outstanding task.

  • Welcome feedback and are committed to continually improving.

  • Want to build a long-term career with a law firm that is growing.
