As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our café.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience is required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. We are looking for bubbly and energetic baristas! A team player mentality is essential.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices related to food preparation and handling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts. weekends (both saturday AND sunday) are required!!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to Lula standards.
- Operate the square systems efficiently to process customer orders and handle cash transactions.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling practices are adhered to at all times.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
