Peer Mentor is an individual with lived experience that mentors youth and young adults to help meet their goals. The Peer Mentor works primarily in the youth’s home or out in the community working on skill building activities, and operates within a team of other providers. The peer mentor validates and inspires young adults by connecting over shared experiences. Qualified candidates have lived experience, are over the age of 18, and recommended to have one year experience working with children, adolescents, or transitional age youth.
